Lincoln Land Baseball opened up MWAC play with a doubleheader split with Danville Area CC. The Loggers won game one 10-9 and lost game two 6-1. In game one, the Loggers were led offensively by Cole Greer who went 4-6 with a double and triple.  Talon File went 2-4 with double, triple and 4 RBI's. Ben Chapman and Jayden Reed each had two hits. The game winner was a big single from Jared Viele in the bottom of the 8th. TJ Painter got the win in relief of starter Adam Deal. In game two, the Loggers only got one hit and lost 6-1. Jonathan Walder got the only hit and Austin Troemper took the loss. 

The Loggers return to play tomorrow against Danville Area CC in a 1pm DH at SHG. The Loggers are now 11-4 and 1-1 in MWAC play.
