GAME ONE - Lincoln Land Loggers Falls To St. Petersburg College After Fifth Inning Score

Sunday's game against St. Petersburg College was a heartbreaker for Lincoln Land Loggers, as they lost the lead late in a 7-2 defeat. The game was tied at two with St. Petersburg College batting in the bottom of the fifth when Jacey Nall induced Valerie Colimodio to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Sydney Tulin earned the win for St. Petersburg College. She surrendered one run on five hits over three innings, striking out three and walking zero. Nall took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. She went four and a third innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits and striking out two.

Ashley Smith started the game for St. Petersburg College. She lasted four innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out three and walking zero Lincoln Land Loggers collected ten hits.  Katie Weller and Hailey Patrick each managed multiple hits for Lincoln Land Loggers.  Patrick and Weller each collected two hits to lead Lincoln Land Loggers.  Lincoln Land Loggers didn't commit a single error in the field. Abigail Walters had six chances in the field, the most on the team.

St. Petersburg College scattered nine hits in the game.  Isabella Huff, Samantha Crim, and Hannah Barnes all managed multiple hits for St. Petersburg College.

GAME TWO - St. Petersburg College Runs Away With Early Lead In Victory

Lincoln Land Loggers fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-0 loss to St. Petersburg College on Sunday. St. Petersburg College took the lead on a in the first inning.

The Lincoln Land Loggers struggled to contain the high-powered offense of St. Petersburg College, giving up nine runs.

St. Petersburg College got things moving in the first inning. A single by Abigail Walters in the first inning was a positive for Lincoln Land Loggers.

Jordan Lewis pitched St. Petersburg College to victory. She surrendered zero runs on six hits over five innings, striking out six and walking one.

Alyssa DeSpain took the loss for Lincoln Land Loggers. She allowed seven hits and nine runs over four innings, striking out three.

Courtney Keller went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Lincoln Land Loggers in hits.

Hannah Barnes led St. Petersburg College with two hits in three at bats. St. Petersburg College didn't commit a single error in the field. Jordan Stanton had the most chances in the field with six.
