Loggers Knocked Out of Region Tournament

The Loggers took on the Parkland College Cobras in an elimination game of the Region 24 Tournament Saturday night. Ethan Klay was tagged with the loss for Lincoln Land despite a solid outing. Klay went 8 innings, giving up just 4 runs and striking out 8. Bryar Jansen and Shayne McNally relieved Klay in the 9th. The Cobras extended their lead to 8 in the top of the 9th on a 3-run homer, and kept the Loggers off the board in the bottom half for an 8-0 win.

The only 3 hits the Loggers were able to tally came from CJ Fleming, Cole Greer, and Chase Kuntzman.

The loss ends the season for the Loggers. After their tournament run, the Loggers end up at 30-28 on the season.
