In game 1, Addison Bryant (6-2) went the distance to shutout Lewis & Clark.  Bryant scattered 5 hits while striking out 5 Trailblazers and no walks.   Madie Sims led the Logger offense in game one, going 2-for-3 with a solo homerun (8 HR) in the 5^th inning. The Loggers were able to win Game 1 5-0.


Game two brought much of the same results for the Loggers. Brittany Roady (3-4) was the winning pitcher.  Roady shutout the Trailblazer hitters as she allowed 4 hits and 3 strikeouts with no walks.  Kaley Maurer was 3-for-3 in game two.  Maurer had 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs.  Madie Sims continued her hitting streak as she went 2-for-3 with two doubles and 5 RBIs.  Katie McLean was also 2-for-3 with a double and 1 RBI.

The Loggers have won 14 out of the last 16 games and they are now 14-12 overall and 12-2 in the MWAC.

LLCC will travel to Quincy to play John Wood on Tuesday of this week.
