GAME 1:
LLCC out hit ICC 9-5 and won game one 5-2.  The winning pitcher for the Loggers was Brittany Roady (4-4). Roady went all 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits with 1 K and 1 walk.  Katie David was the losing pitcher for the Cougars.   "I was very impressed with Brittany Roady today," commented Coach John Marsaglia.  "Her ball was moving and she kept the Cougars off balance.  She hit her spots, we made good plays behind her".
Katie McLean led the Loggers offensively, going 3-for-4 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored.  Katelyn Presley was 2-for-2 with 1 RBI, a double and 1 run scored.  Lexy Koester was 2-for-3 with a double and a two out RBI in the 4
th.
GAME 2:
ICC came back in the nightcap to win 8-1.  Addison Bryant was strong through 4 innings holding the Cougars scoreless on just 3 hits. The Cougars scored 4 in both the 5
thand 6
thinnings.  This was Bryant's 3
rdloss on the year (6-3).  Tess Beckham relieved Bryant and held them scoreless for the last two innings.
Kayley Maurer had 2 of the 4 hits that the Loggers were held to off of winning sophomore pitcher Paige Lane.
"We played very well in game one, but couldn't produce the hits necessary to pulled two wins," stated Coach Marsaglia.
The Loggers are now 19-13 on the year and will take on Heartland on Saturday, game time 1 pm.
