The offensive woes are back for Lincoln Land, as they were only able to tally two hits in an afternoon contest at Pasco Hernando State College. Rick Dour (0-1) pitched an absolute gem, but suffered the loss. The sophomore went 6 1/3 innings, fanning 7 and giving up just 2 earned runs. He held Pasco scoreless for the first 6 innings of the game, until a costly error pushed across a run to tie the ball game. Ben Johnson relieved Dour and got out of a 7th inning jam to get the Loggers back up to the plate. The 8th didn't treat Johnson as well, as Pasco was able to plate 3 more, making it a 6-1 ball game heading into the 9th. The Loggers would go down quietly in the 9th in order to end the game, making it their 5th loss of the season.
The Loggers (3-5) get back on the diamond Tuesday in a single game at Central Florida.
