LLCC started Saturday sweeping Lake Land, though the Loggers struggled throughout the match with unforced errors. They were led by great serving by Kaylee Beekman and Lainey Jackson who combined for ten of LLCC's seventeen aces. "We served well, but we had no energy and fell behind again each set. You just can't do that. It catches up to you," Coach Dietz said afterwards.

The chickens came home to roost in the second match as ICC's Cougars swept Lincoln Land after LLCC spotted ICC six points to begin the first set. In the second set, the Loggers opened a lead, but another run of LLCC hits out of bounds let the Cougars climb from a 6-2 deficit to a 15-15 tie and then a 20-15 lead before exchanging sideouts for a 25-20 win. The third set saw LLCC use its bench as ICC started with a strong lead which led to a 25-11 conclusion. "No energy and we did the same things that cost us the match against Parkland. We made poor choices with our offense and you can't do that against good teams like ICC. We coughed up points and they capitalized. We struggled with both matches with that lack of energy. It's disappointing. Now we have to turn around and get ready for Wednesday and Lincoln College."
Lincoln Land is now 9-4 on the season. They will play Wednesday at Lincoln College.
