The Loggers defeated Spoon River 14-1 in game one and fall to Danville Area Community College 10-0.    The Loggers out hit Spoon River 15-5 and scored 14 run to end the game in the 5th by 8 run rule.   Jordan Kraft got the win as she allowed 1 run on 5 hits and striking out 4 batters.  The only run for Spoon River came in the 3rd inning on a solo home run by Miranda Aquilar.  Morgan Heckman was 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs, including a 2 run home run in the bottom of the 3rd.  Katie McLean also had 2 hits and 5 RBIs.  Kelsie Allen added 2 hits and 3 RBIs along with 2 hits from Katelyn Presley.

The Loggers ran into the hot bats of DACC in game two.  The Jaguars scored 4 runs in the top of the first with two outs on a grand slam home run by Sadie Bradenburg.  The Jaguars scored 6 more runs to win by the 8 run rule in the 5th.  Sophomore Bri Graham picked up the loss. Morgan Laws held the Logger hitters off balance by allowing only 3 hits and 5 Ks in her 5 innings.

The Loggers slip into the loser's bracket and must win to stay alive in the tournament action.  The Loggers will face Heartland CC at 4 pm. on Saturday.
