The Loggers lose game one 11-9 and rally to win game two, 7-6.
Katie McLean 6-for-9 today
LLCC gave away 5 runs in the first inning on 6 hits and 3 Logger errors. Bri Graham collected the loss. Madie Routh relieved Graham in the 3rd inning. Trailing 9-4 going into the top of the 6th, the Loggers exploded with a big inning as they scored 5 runs. DACC scored 1 run in the bottom of the 6th to extend their lead to 11-9. Katie McLean led went 3-for-5 and 2 RBIs. Katelyn Presley, Ashton Dyche, Morgan Heckman and Gracie Schweighart collected 2 hits each.
Game two started the same way as the first game. We scored first on a solo HR by Katie McLean to take the lead.Â
DACC then scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st.  Trailing 6-4 going into the top of the 7th, the Loggers scored 3 runs to take the lead 7-6. Jordan Kraft (W) then struck out the sides for the win. Kraft went 7 innings, allowing 6 runs on 11 hits and 3 Ks. Katie McLean and Katelyn Presley led the Logger offense with 3 hits each. Ashton
Dyche and Whitney David were both 2-for-3 and 1 RBI.
"We kept swinging and fought back to give us the opportunity to win," said Coach John Marsaglia. "We can't keep giving up those big run innings and expect to win."
The Loggers will host DACC tomorrow in a double header, starting at 1 pm.
