The Loggers defeat John Wood 8-1 and 14-6 in a double header at LLCC today.  Jordan Kraft picked up the win and is now 7-4 on the year.  Samantha Jett was the losing pitcher for John Wood.  Kraft went 7 innings, allowing 1 run (not earned) with 4 Ks.  Ashton Dyche was the big hitter in game one as she was 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs, including a solo home run in the 3rd inning.  Katelyn Presley was 2-for-3 and Maggie Comerford recorded a 1 out double with 2 RBIs.

Kaitlyn David was the losing pitcher for John Wood.  Bri Graham picked up her 7 win allowing 6 runs (5 earned) 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. The Loggers gave up 5 runs in the top of the first and answered with 5 runs in the bottom half.  LLCC out hit JW 17-5 in the 14-6 win.    Whitney David led the Logger offense as she went 4-for-4 with a double, 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.  Kelsie Allen had a big day at the plate as she went 3-for-4 with a triple, double and 2 RBIs.  Lead off hitter Katie McLean was 2-for-2 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored.  Maggie Comerford also went 3-for-4 with an RBI.  Morgan Heckman was 1-3 with her 6 home run of the week and 3 RBIs.

The Loggers have improved to 23-15 on the year and will face John Wood tomorrow in Quincy, Illinois.
