LLCC defeats 13-seed Carl Sandburg 25-18, 25-13, 25-15

As the NJCAA National Tournament commenced, LLCC began the day against Carl Sandburg College, taking an easy 3-0 victory.  "We didn't play well against them at the Parkland Tournament two weeks ago.  That was the end of the season and we weren't completely healthy.  It's a lot different when you can play your whole lineup," Coach Dietz said. "Really, I got what I wanted out of this--we got a lot of playing time for everyone and moved on to the Elite Eight."

The Loggers were led by libero Bobana Marusic's 15 digs and 3 aces, as well a balanced attack that saw six different Logger hitters with five or more kills.
