The Loggers continued to have hot bats as they defeat DACC 10-2 and 7-1 on 26 hits in the double header today at Winter Park in Danville, Illinois.

Morgan Mansur had a rough go in yesterday's outting, but she rebounded to win game one allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, with 3 Ks. "Morgan (11-5) threw very well today," commented Coach John Marsaglia. "She located well and scattered hits, allowing her defense to work behind her."
Anna Walschleger had a great day at the plate, going 3-for-4, scoring 3 times and 1 stolen base. Morgan Heckman was 2-for-3 with double and 3 RBIs. Taylen Balding and Lauren Ohnesorge added 2 hits each to bolster the offense.
Jordan Kraft picked up her second win in two days in game two as she allowed only 1 run on 9 hits with 3 Ks. "I was real pleased with our pitching effort today. They continued to work on getting a head of the hitters."Â
The twins, Madison (2-for-4) and Lauren Ohnesorge (3-for-4) collected 5 hits in game two along with two hits and 2 RBIs by Courtney Reeves. Taylen Balding, who lives twenty minutes from Danville and in front of several family members was 4-for-4 with 1RBI in game two. "Balding has been swinging the bat very well and today she was almost perfect, including some excellent plays on defense."
The Loggers finish the regular season 29-18 and wait for the pairings for Region XXIV Tournament that starts Thursday at the East Side Center in East Peoria.
