
The Loggers hosted the Blazers in the last of a four game set as the Loggers lost game one 6-2 and won game two 8-0 in a run ruled contest. John Wood scored 1 run in the first and 2 runs in the 2nd inning to lead 3-0. LLCC came back to score 1 run in the 4th on a solo bomb to left by Courtney Reeves. Miranda Esperum led off the 5th inning, followed by a bunt base hit by Anna Walschleger. Taylen Balding sacrificed the runners and Cindy Garces drow in Esperum on a sac fly to center field. John Wood then scored 2 more in the 7th inning to end the game 6-2 in favor of the Blazers.
Bri Graham (3-2) was the losing pitcher. Graham went the distance allowing 6 runs on 10 hits and 6 Ks. The Loggers were held to only 5 hits with no mulitple hitters. Courtney Reeves had a solo homer, 1 for 1 and 1 RBI.
Game two the Loggers scored first in the first with two outs as Cindy Garces doubled to left center followed by Courtney Reeves secon homer of the day. The Loggers scored 1 run in the 3rd, 1 in the 5th and 4 in the 6th inning to end the game 8-0 by the run rule. Taylen Balding, Courtney Reeves, Morgan Heckman and Maggie Comerford each had 2 hits in the win. Cindy Garces led the Loggers with 3 hits and 1 RBI. Maggie Comerford hit her second homer of the year, a two run dinger line drive to left field.

"It was all Jordan Kraft today," said coach Marsaglia after game two. "She threw well yesterday but today was even better. She silenced a tough hitting John Wood team." Kraft went 6 innings giving up just 3 hits in the shutout win. Kraft had 3Ks and no walks.
The Loggers are now 12-8 overall and 6-2 in the conference.
LLCC will play next Sunday at Spoon River, followed by a double header on Monday, April 4th at home.
