LLCC swept its final two matches of its tournament in Peoria with a convincing 25-14, 25-6, 25-14 win over Southwestern Illinois and an ensuing three set sweep of South Suburban College. Against the Cougars of SWIC, the Loggers came out fast, seizing a quick lead and building it to 14-7 behind hitting from Talesha Scott and passing by Kendall Knop and Izzy Carroll. In the second game, it was all Loggers as Reinthaler and Carroll served SWIC off the court, building a 21-4 lead. The Loggers then cruised in the third game as well. "We played well start to finish," Coach Dietz said. "We limited our errors and it's the first match in quite a while where we've been focused from first to last."

The Loggers then played South Suburban where a team effort defeated SSC. "SSC is undermanned right now because of injuries which hurts them, but they are a great defensive team. They made us earn our points throughout the contest. I thought Kendall Knop did well hitting and we got good passing from several people including Kaley Hennings and Brook McKinney. Now we have to move our focus to Wednesday and our Region 24/MWAC match with Lincoln."
