Mistakes kept the Loggers from advancing in the tournament as LLCC falls to Johnson County 4-3 and to East Central MS 3-2. Down 4-0 in game one, the Loggers scored 1 run in the 5th inning to narrow the lead. Lindsay Floyd threw 3 shutout innings in relief of Hayley Long (L) to give the Loggers a chance to come back in the 7th.  Anna Walschleger led off the 7th with a base hit. Megan Balleger flew out to left. Sadie Mosher drew her second walk of day and Courtney Reeves followed with a base hit through the left side. Rachel Hastings then doubled to center to drive in 2 runs to shorten the lead to 4-3. Rachel Wisner walked to load the bases with one out. Cindy Garces hit into a fielder's choice for out number two at the plate.  The game ended on a controversial call with a dropped third strike and force out at the plate.
East Central scored their first three batters in the first inning of game two against the Loggers. Down 3-0 in the 4th inning, Megan Ballegeer singled up the middle and Sadie Mosher followed with a 2 run homer to left. LLCC hit into a double play and grounded out to end the rally in the 4th, leaving the score 3-2. Mosher (L) allowed 7 hits and struck out 5 batters.
LLCC finished 5th in the nation with an overall record of 45-14.
