Mosher and Long continue to shine on the mound as LLCC softball wins 10-0 and 12-4. Sadie Mosher was almost perfect on the mound and at the plate. Mosher (12-5) threw a no-hit shutout in 5 innings with 9 strikeouts. She was also 3-for-3 with a homerun (8) and 4 RBIs. Rachel Hastings (2-for-3, 2 RBIs) and Rachel Wisner (1-for-2, 2 RBIs) also homered in game one. Taylen Balding was 1-for-2 with 1 RBI.
Hayley Long was the winning pitcher in game two. Long (16-3) allowed 4 runs (1 earned) on 2 hits and struck out 10 in 5 innings. Sadie Mosher went 3-for-3 and 1 RBI. Lindsay Floyd (2-for-3, 4 RBIs) joined the home run club with homerun to left center in the third inning. Stephanie Hunt went 2-for-4 with a triple and 2 RBIs. Lauren Ohnesorge and Miranda Esperum added punch to offense with 2 hits each. Rachel Wisner led off the 5
th with a sharp double down the line and Alex Hamm followed with a walk-off hit for the win.
The Loggers are now 36-10 and 21-1 in the MWAC.
