LLCC softball takes two from Parkland, winning 9-8 and 12-5. Leading 7-2 in the 7th inning the Cobras battled back to tie the game 7-7. Lindsay Floyd relieved Sadie Mosher in the 8th inning. Lindsay Floyd relieved Sadie Mosher in the 8th inning. Parkland scored 1 run in the 12th but LLCC answered with 1 run in the bottom half. The Loggers scored the winning run on a Rachel Hastings walk off line drive that hit the top of the centerfield fence. Floyd (3-0) pitched 6 innings and allowed 1 run on 6 hits. Sadie Mosher went the first 7 innings, allowing 7 runs on 10 hits with 6 strikeouts. Taylen Balding went 3-for-5 with 2 RBIs. Anna Walschleger was 4-for-7 and a double. Rachel Hastings was 3-for-7, 2 doubles and the game winning RBI. Miranda Esperum was 2-for-5 and 2 RBIs.

The Loggers won game two 12-5. Hayley Long picked up her 13th win of the season. Long went all 7 innings, allowing 5 runs on 7 hits and striking out 9 Parkland hitters. Anna Walschlager was 3-for-4, 1 RBI and a double. Alex Hamm went 2-for-3, double and 1 RBI. Sadie Mosher hit her 7th homerun on a grand slam to left. Mosher was 2-for-4, double and homerun with 6 RBIs. Courtney Reeves and Rachel Wisner each had 2 hits in the win.Â
The Loggers are 30-10 on the season and 17-1 in the MWAC.
