Springfield, IL - The Loggers finished a four game set against Lewis & Clark, defeating them today 2-1 and 10-4. The Loggers are now 4-0 in the MWAC on the back of a 15 game winning streak. Sadie Mosher picked up her 6th win of the season. Mosher (6-3) allowed 1 run on 5 hits and striking out 6 Blazer hitters. LLCC had six batters who collected one hit each as Sadie Mosher and Miranda Esperum had the only extra base hits with a double each.
The Blazers came back in game two to lead 4-1 going into the bottom of the 3rd inning. The Loggers responded with 1 run in the 3rd, 2 in the 4th and 5th innings and 4 in the 6th to win game two 10 -4. Hayley Long was the winning pitcher. All four runs scored were unearned. The Blazers had 9 hits and left 9 runners on base as Long pitched out of several jams and gave up 1 walk with 5 strike outs.

Lauren Ohnesorge 3-for-4, 4 RBIs
Lauren Ohnesoge was the big hitter in the come back win, goin 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs. Anna Walschleger went 4-for-5 along with Jackie Hoffmeier who was 3-for-5 with 1 RBI. Catcher Rachel Wisner went 2-for-4 with a double. Walschleger and Courtney Reeves (1-for-3) each had a triple.
LLCC is now 16-8 on the year.
