LLCC baseball downs South Florida State 9-1.  The Loggers posted 13 hits to just 3 by South Florida.  The Loggers big inning came in the 5th inning when Zach Barnhart reached 1st on a bunt and advanced on a throwing error by the pitcher.  Konor White moved Barnhart to 3rd on a ground out to 2nd.  Will Schneider grounded out, scoring Barnhart, RBI credited to Schneider.  Carter Pranger answered with a homer to left field, 1 RBI.  Colby Griggs doubled to center followed by Jake Morsch walking.  Nick Lonergan singled through the left side and made it to 2nd on the throw to the plate that scored Griggs.  Austin Muench singled home Lonergan and Griggs.  The Loggers scored 5 runs on 6 hits and left 2 runners on base.

Top hitters in the win were Zach Barnhart who was 3-for-5 as well as Carter Pranger who went 2-for-3 with 1 RBI, and 2-for-4 by Colby Griggs.   Winning pitcher Michael Ringer went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 1 hit and 9 strikeouts.  Connor Creasey pitched the last 3 innings.  Creasey faced 12 batters and struck out 2 hitters in his relief performance.

LLCC baseball is now 7-3 on the season.
