The Loggers faced the #1 team in the nation for the second time in two days and their powerful bats to lose 17-6.  LLCC gave up 11 runs in the first inning and 6 more in the second inning.  The Loggers were unable to silence the hot Jones County bats. Jones County hitters were 18 for 30 at the plate.  LLCC went 8 for 20 at the plate. Sadie Mosher and Courtney Reeves each had 2 hits in the loss.  Reeves, Cindy Garces and Rachel Hasitngs had the only extra base hits with doubles for each.

Freshman Gabbi Clifton (0-1) got her first start of the year (0.67 innings) and was relieved by freshman Morgan Mansur who also went just 0.67 innings.  Sophomore Lindsay Floyd finished the 2.67 innings.

Game 2 saw the Loggers playing their 4th and final game of the invite. The Loggers scored one in first, but Hinds CC came back to score two in ther half of the inning. Hinds CC out hit the Loggers 9-8 but gave up 7 runs while scoring only 4.  Anna Walschleger was 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs and a triple off the right field fence in the 5th inning.  Sadie Mosher went 2-for-3.

Hayley Long picked up the loss (0-2) going 3 innings and allowing 4 runs.  Sadie Mosher relieved Long and finished the game allowing 3 runs on 4 hits.  Mosher had 4 strike outs in the three innings of work.

LLCC is 0-4 on the year and will head to Florida for a 10 day road trip starting March 7th.
