#3 LLCC went 2-1 on the day at the Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament, hosted in 2015 by Parkland College, defeating Lincoln College 3-0 and Lewis & Clark 3-1, before falling in a tight match to undefeated national #1 Parkland 23-25, 22-25, 21-25. On the day, the Loggers were led by Claire Reinthaler, who tallied 31 kills, 10 aces, and 11 blocks on the day. She was supported against Lincoln by Brenna Perinar who had 9 kills and 10 digs and Kendall Knop who picked up 5 aces to go with her 8 digs. Against Lewis & Clark, TIffany Sunderlin had 19 kills while Reinthaler set a career high with 14. In the final match, unforced errors caused problems for the Loggers, including a game-ending ball dropping to end game one, though Sydney Jarrard set a career high with five blocks in the match.

"We played well during the day," Coach Dietz said after the tough three set loss to Parkland. "We came out focused against Lincoln and against Lewis & Clark, and then we got caught relaxing, thinking about the final match against Parkland. The funny thing is--same thing happened to them. They let up and Lincoln nabbed a game. YOu can't do that against good teams--and Jim and Mark both have good squads. I wish we would've avoided the mental lapses against Parkland--we lost, no question of that, but we helped it along, especially in game one with the unforced errors. If we want to finish the season out strong--that's got to be what we take care of, the mental side of the game."
