Lincoln Land Baseball won the first game of a doubleheader with Parkland 2-0. The Loggers managed to score 1 run in the 2nd inning and their second run in the 4th, but that was all they needed for Reed Willenborg (5-2) to pick up the win. Willenborg held the Cobra hitters at bay, allowing only 5 hits and striking out 3. Colby Griggs was the big hitter for the Loggers with a 3-for-3 outing. Griggs scored both runs for the Loggers
The Loggers won game two 5-3 in another low hit outing for both teams. Will Schneider led the Loggers in hitting going 3-for-3, scoring 1 run and 1 RBI. Schneider had two doubles (3rd and 6th innings). Tyler Borski (2-for-3) was the only other Logger with multiple hits in game two. Michael Ringer (4-1) was the winning pitcher for the LLCC. Ringer went 5 innings, allowing 2 runs on 2 hits. Ringer walked 3 and struck out 3 in the 23 batters that he faced. Blake Welch pitched the last two innings and picked up his 3 save on the year.
The 10th ranked Loggers improved their record to 33-10 overall and 15-5 in the MWAC.
