Men's baseball collected 22 hits today against Hannibal-LaGrange to win 12-1 and 10-2. Designated hitter Will Schneider led the Loggers offensively with 2 hits, 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs. Drew Levitt, Michael Reavy and Tyler Borski also added two hits each in the win. The Loggers scored in every inning of the 8 run ruled game. The Loggers put the game away in the 2
nd inning scoring 5 runs on 5 hits. LLCC out hit Hannibal – LaGrange 11-4 in the non-conference win. Ridge Ackerman (7-0) picked up the win and allowed 1 run on 4 hits and 5 strike outs.
Michael Ringer (3-1) was the winning pitcher for the Loggers in game two. Ringer went 4 innings and allowed 1 run on 1 hit with 8 strikeouts. Connor Creasey and Taylor Staff each threw one inning of work. Creasey allowed 1 run in the 6
th inning after a wild pitch and an error. Neal Aherin went 3-for-3 with 1 RBI. Other multiple hitters for the Loggers were Sam Goode (2-for-4) and Bryce Wright (2-for-4).
LLCC is now 23-10 on the season.
