Lincoln Land traveled to Lincoln to take on John Wood in the opening round of the Region 24 basketball tournament. The Loggers were defeated 83-69. MWAC champion John Wood raced to an early 10-3 lead, however LLCC scored the next seven points to tie the game at ten all. JWCC hit four first half three before going to the locker room with a 38-33 half time lead.

In the second half John wood went to their all region post player TJ Tisdell who finished the game with 28 points and 13 rebounds. The Loggers struggled all night with keeping Tisdell off the glass and we're never able to get any closer than five points. LLCC had to foul down the stretch and JWCC made their free throws pushing the lead to the final score of 69-83.

LLCC was led in scoring by Marcus Graham's 22 points. Sophomore forward Reed Willenbog chipped in 16 points and six rebounds.
