Double wins for LLCC extends their win streak to fifteen. LLCC softball defeated Danville Cougars 9-4 and 13-0 today at home. Whitley Baker (5-0) got the win in relief after starting pitcher Katie Lange was removed with an injury. Lange took a line drive off her leg that forced her out of the game in the top of the 5^th inning. Baker pitched the 5-7 innings and struck out 6 Cougar batters. Rachel Wisner and Rachel Hastings both hit solo home runs for the Loggers. Wisner was 3-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Hastings was 2-for-3 with 1 RBI. Laura Bonds, Kayla and Melinda Wilson also contributed with 2 hits each.

LLCC collected 15 hits in game two to end the game 13-0 by the 8 run rule. Lauren Windisch and Laura Bonds were both 3-for-4 while Rachel Hastings, Rachel Wisner and Torey Sorensen collected 2 hits each. Rachel Wisner hit her second homerun of the day along with homers by Payton Billups and Stephanie Watkins. LLCC has hit 31 home runs in 29 games. Sadie Mosher was the winning pitcher for LLCC. Mosher (4-0) allowed just 2 hits while striking out six.

LLCC extends to 26-3 for the season and 6-0 in the conference.
