The Loggers continue in the win column as they defeat Pasco-Hernando 8-4 and 10-1. The Loggers led 8-1 going into the 7
th inning of game one before, walks and back to back hits put three runs on the board. Claire Dubree (3-0) worked out of the jam and picked up her 3
rd win on the year. Dubree went all 7 innings allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. Dubree had 6 walks and 2 strikeouts in the win. LLCC kept the pressure on the PHCC pitchers by posting 11 hits. Payton Billups, Rachel Hastings, Rachel Wisner and Melinda Wilson (2 RBIs) added 2 hits each. Wilson had a double in the 4th, along with Payton Billups triple to allow the Loggers to score 3 runs on 4 hits.
LLCC continued to hit the ball hard in game two of the double header scoring 10 runs on 8 hits. Sophomore pitcher Whitley Baker went the distance in game two holding the PHCC hitters to 1 run on 3 hits and 3 strikeouts. Lindsay Floyd had 2 hits (2-for-2) with 1 RBI.
The Loggers are now 14-3 on the season.
