LLCC baseball jumped out to quick lead, scoring 3 runs in the first and 2 more in 4^th to hold on and claim the win against South Florida, 5-4. Sawyer Howard went 8.1 innings and was saved by Nick Lonergan (3 saves). Howard gave up 4 runs on 8 hits and all runs scored were unearned. Colby Griggs was 3-for-5 with 2 RBIs and a double. Austin Muench went 3-for-4 on the night.

Austin Muench led off the 1^st inning with a single to center. With one out Will Schneider doubled to center followed by a double from Sam Goode (RBI) that scored Muench. With two outs, Colby Griggs singled to center, driving in Goode and Schneider. At the end of one inning of play the Loggers led 3-1. LLCC scored 2 runs in the 4^th inning on a Will Schneider's 2 RBI single to left field.

South Florida scored 2 runs in the last inning but came up short as the Loggers collected their 6^th win of the season (6-3). The Loggers will travel to Winter Haven to take on Kiswaukee and then they will finish the day playing Southeastern University JV in Lakeland, Florida.
