The Loggers of Lincoln Land played host to Carl Sandburg College in the final men's game of the Logger Classic, losing 67-56.,LLCC opened the game quickly jumping to a four point lead. It didn't take Carl Sandburg long to respond with two quick baskets of their own. This was the beginning of a back and forth first half where the lead changed six times before Carl Sandburg took a one point lead at half-time.

The second half was a different story for the Loggers.,,The Chargers,came out in a ¾ court press that caused the Loggers to end the game with 27 turnovers.,CSC extended its lead to 22 points,before LLCC began chipping away with 8:00 minutes to go. The Loggers were able to cut the lead to 10, but the lead proved too much to over come.

"We really struggled matching up with their smaller lineup., We made careless mistakes with the ball in addition to missing several layups off the press break., It was a rough night," said Logger Coach Chad Jones.

LLCC posted a,dismal effort going,2-11 from the free throw line. Freshman Edin Mehmodovic led the Loggers with 16 points. The Loggers fall to 10-4 on the season and,will face,North Central Missouri College at home on January 7^th..
