Lincoln Land Loggers traveled to Decatur to face the Millikin University JV in a double header at Borg Warner Field.   LLCC lost game one 6-2.   The score was tied 2-2 going into the bottom of the 6^th inning when the Big Blue scored 4 runs to take the lead.  The Loggers failed to respond in the top half of the 7^th despite having the bases loaded and one out.  Freshman Whitley Baker went the distances for the Loggers and picked up the loss.  Baker allowed 6 runs on 9 hits and striking out 6 Millikin hitters.  All 6 runs were earned.   Laura Bonds was 2-for-3 in game one.
 
The Loggers won game two 3-1.   Morgan Smith (3-2 record) got her third win on the season.  Smith scattered 7 hits and striking out 7 in the win.  The Big Blue hitters did not produce a run until the last inning.  Leadoff hitter Katie Price was 2-for-2 and scored 1 run and 1 RBI.
