The men’s baseball team started off their Florida trip by beating Pasco-Hernando 4-2. The Loggers produce 4 runs on 11 hits while LLCC starting pitcher Derringer Huff went 7 innings, giving up 4 hits, 2 runs, and striking out 2 batters. Kyle Culli and Dan Reiser each threw one inning to support Huff’s stellar performance. Dan Reiser picked up his 2
nd save on the year.
The Loggers added 3 runs in the 6
th inning to take the lead on singles by Brandon Weller (2 RBIs) and Ryan Aper (1 RBI). Ryan Aper was 2-for-5, Jake Ingold went 3-for-3 with a double, and Cory Fanning was 2-for-4.
The Loggers are now 3-6 on the season. Pasco Hernando fell to 12-11.
