LLCC played day two of the Harry S. Truman Tip-Off Classic against the host Truman College. The Loggers started the game slow and sloppy against the Falcons falling behind by 8 points. Eventually the Loggers started to get into their flow and took a 5 point lead into halftime. The second half was a completely different story as the Loggers were able to control tempo and flow and build on their lead to push it as high as 37 points.
"In the second half we were able to ramp up our defense and force some turnovers, which led to easy baskets. Our offense was sloppy but we finally started putting it together and got each other some good opportunities," stated Coach Jones.
The Loggers move to 2-0 on the season. Lincoln Land was led by Kendall Davis who put in 22 points on 8 of 11 shooting and 6 of 7 from the free throw line. Sophomore Marcus Graham had 15 points and dished out 8 assists. Garrett Williams chipped in 14 points.
