LLCC lost to champion Indian Hills CC, a Division 1 school from Ottumwa, IA, but otherwise went 3-1 on the weekend, a good result which brings the team through Labor Day with a 6-2 record with both losses to D-1 teams.Leading the way on the weekend for the Loggers was Haley Maxwell who made the all-tournament squad after hitting .500 for the weekend, the best single-tournament performance in school history. The squad was also helped by solid blocking, especially Jordan Ballinger and Michaleen Forman who each tallied 4 block assists against Lake Land.
LLCC goes back into action Wednesday with a home MWAC match against Parkland College.
