Mattoon, IL – The Lady Loggers advance to the next round of Region 24 Regionals beating Shawnee CC 7-2.  The Loggers added four runs in the second to take a 6-1 lead over Shawnee.  Each team added one more run in this first round play.   LLCC will play Parkland today at 1:30 pm.  Parkland advanced yesterday beating Lincoln College 3-2.
 
Shelby Batterton (2-for-4) and Sarah Worster (2-for-3) each had two hits.   Kayti Lundin went the distance giving up 6 hits, striking out 5.  Lundin is now 16-5 on the year.
