SPRINGFIELD–Lincoln Land Community College Loggers basketball player Aaron Davis signed a national letter of intent Thursday, April 6 to play at Purdue University Calumet in Hammond, Ind., for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Davis, a point guard who attended Peoria Richwoods High School, was the Loggers’ leading rebounder with 4.3 rebounds per game, the second leading scorer with 10.4 points per game and shot 45 percent from the field. He recently was named All Mid-West Athletic Conference Honorable Mention.
"Aaron was a tremendous basketball player and a very important part of our basketball team for the last two years.” said Chad Jones, LLCC head men’s basketball coach. “Not only is he a great player, but he is an outstanding young man. He has represented our program and our school well, and I am very proud of him. He will be very successful at the next level."
