Decatur, IL – LLCC Softball take two from Millikin JV squad by the 8 run rule.  Marissa Jenkins hit her first over the fence home run on a line drive to left-center.  Jenkins was 3-for-3 in the first game.  Shelby Batterton went 2-for-3 with a double.  Makenzie Carter was 2-for-3 with two doubles.   Kayti Lundin was the winning pitcher, now 9-4 for the season.
 
In game two, the Loggers continued to hit and score big runs.  The Lady Loggers collected 15 hits in just 5 innings.  Sami Estill, Marissa Jenkins, Jen Detmer, Jori Gleich, Sarah Worster and Sam Remmert collected 2 hits each.   Millikin leadoff hitter Jess Oller was their only player with two hits. 
 
Winning pitcher Payge Bowen went all 5 innings to earn her 5 win against 3 losses.
