Springfield, IL – Loggers Sweep John Wood, now 21-10 on the season and 8-6 in the conference.
 
Ryan Aper, Jake Ingold and Kyle Forsythe had two hits each to lead the Loggers in the first game.  Kyle Forsythe had two doubles and Jake Ingold hit 2 run homerun in the second inning (11 for the season).
 
Bryce Sablotny picked up the win, now 5-2 on the year.  Sablotny went the distance for the 5^th time this year.  He gave up 3 hits, with 1 walk and 4 strike outs.
 
In the second game, the Loggers scored 9 runs on 6 hits.  Designated hitter Seth Hale was 2-for-4 with a 3 run homerun in the 5^th.  Hale had 4 RBIs on the day.  Chad Frerichs also had two hits in the second game.  Brandon Shaw (4-1) got the win and Tyler Clark picked up his 5^th save on the year.
 

The Loggers will play Saturday, April 14 in East Peoria against Illinois Central College, game time 1 pm.
