Springfield - LLCC Loggers split with Parkland Community College at Kracik Field. The Cobras won the first game 2-1 and the Loggers came back in the second game winning by the score of 17-8. The pitchers dominated in this game with each starter going the distance in this one hour and 35 minute game. Zach Hall (Parkland) had 9 strike outs and Jordan Pesko (LLCC) having 6 strike outs. Parkland out hit the Loggers seven hits to one in the loss for LLCC.
The bats came alive in the second game with five LLCC players collecting 2 or more hits.
Jake Ingold led the Loggers going 4-for-4 at the plate, including homeruns in the first and second innings.
Ryan Aper also had a solo homerun in the first inning.
The Loggers increased their record to 15-8 on the season and 4-4 in the MWAC.
