Champaign, IL - Blake Gand, Jarod Pellman, and Kyle Forsythe, collected six of the ten hits to allow the Loggers to beat Parkland Community College 7-5. LLCC baseball team trailed the Cobras 5-2 going into the seventh inning. The Loggers batted the line up and scored five runs to defeat Parkland. Cory Fanning hit a solo homerun to center field, followed by five hits and a walk to take the lead. Jake Ingold hit a home run with two outs in the third. Bryce Sablotny went 6.1 innings and Tyler Clark came in to get his third save on the season. Sablotny increased his pitching record to 4-1.
Game two of the double header the Loggers came up short one run with a walk off base hit to lose the game 4-3. Jake Ingold was the only multiple hitter for the Loggers, he was 2-for-4 with a double.
Lincoln Land is now 14-7 and 3-3 in the conference. The Loggers will host the Cobras tomorrow in a conference double header starting at 1 pm.
