Lincoln Land Community College Athletics

He was a five-time NJCAA All American.   He won the individual national championships in 440 IM and 440 in 1974. In 1973 and 1974, he was named Most Valuable Player and Athlete of the Year.   He attended SIU-Carbondale and earned Track and Field Federation All-American honors.  He was named Illinois Intercollegiate Champion in 1975 and 1976 and the Missouri Valley Champion for hurdles in 1976.
