Clyde Oliver II

As the top recruit from Lanphier High School in 1979, where he recorded 20 wins and 7 losses as a pitcher, Clyde Oliver went on to be the number two all-time winning pitcher at Lincoln Land Community College with 14 wins.  After transferring to Nicholls State University, he was a starting pitcher for two years.  Upon completion of his master’s degree in health science, he joined the staff at Armstrong State College in the position of instructor and assistant baseball coach.  While at Armstrong, Clyde’s pitching staff has been nationally ranked in earned run average over the past five years
